Sometimes I revisit my old livejournal to check up on friends to see if anyone is active. I had forgotten that I still had my ex added. I read part of an old chat log that she had posted a couple of months after we broke up. I internally cringed a little & stopped myself from reading any further. It has been years since I have moved on, and I feel no lingering attachment or feelings towards her. We weren't right for each other. It wasn't pleasant to read certain things but I don't exactly see any point in rehashing negative memories associated with her entries. It was simply her own way of self expression & more than likely not for my eyes anyway. I do, however want to share an excerpt from one of her many "blogs" (she liked to write) that I found to be somewhat relatable & wanted to give my own perspectives on the subject:
Look, I am totally fine with people with opposing views commenting on my social media posts. I'm not perfect. I am totally open to constructive criticism too. However, when you have an opposing viewpoint and feel the need to drive it home across multiple accounts (BUSINESS ACCOUNTS, mind you), it's just not a good look or very professional. That's just my opinion though 🤔.
I find it ironic that the same person who was lecturing me on having "different opinions" couldn't handle it when a lot of people had "different opinions" on what they had to say. You know what the say about opinions... The irony isn't lost on me, either.

I am healing my inner child by binge watching the 1998 Trigun series. I am currently on episode 11 & I am enjoying it so far. Who knows? I might even watch the vintage Kenshin anime next.
I got a new gaming mouse. My old razer naga finally died. It surprisingly lasted a long time (6 years), considering I abused it daily. My best friend, Julio & I are back to playing games again (I was on a long burnout hiatus). I refuse to play Lost Ark, which he is obsessed with. I hate the gearing system. I also now have a low tolerance for dungeon grinding after wasting so many hours in Blade & Soul, so we settled on Palworld & idgaf if it is a Pokemon clone or whatever controversy surrounds it. It's fun.
Speaking of controversy, I totally ship Vash with Wolfwood, btw. Bite me.
tbh I migrated over to this platform from wordpress & livejournal. I started out blogging on blogspot a long time ago, but I never really could quite get into journaling. Here I am once again.
I was so tired today. I finally got the tree decorated and wrapped a few Christmas gifts for my family, read a couple chapters in a webtoon that I really enjoy, popped into a friend's stream to say hello and give my support, and ate tofu. Not really productive, but it is for me. My iron and B12 are low again. Fun times /s. I am not sure what I am going to do with this blog quite yet, but I felt compelled to make this. I suppose I could use a creative outlet for letting off some steam as I go through these awkward bouts of anxiety related mood swings due to said deficiencies that I've been having lately. Time will tell, I guess.
